ADATA Licensing of Disney Characters for its Products Proves Very Successful
ADATA Disney Series will be Launched in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand in Summer 2006

ADATA Obtains the Exclusive Right to Use Disney Characters on its Comprehensive Range of Flash Memory Products -
ADATA is one of Asia’s leading memory application product vendors. Adopting a strategy based on market segmentation and brand differentiation, ADATA is collaborating with Disney to use Disney characters on its range of Flash memory drives and memory card products. In the last two years, ADATA has launched a series of memory card and portable hard drive products that use well-loved Disney characters in the design. They include an ultra-fashionable retro Mickey Mouse memory card, the Cinderella memory card designed to appeal to female consumers, and a portable hard drive and memory card featuring the irresistible Winnie the Pooh; there is also a high-speed memory card that uses characters from the Disney film The Incredibles. ADATA now offers a more comprehensive range of Disney-branded flash memory products than any other vendor. The products developed by ADATA in this collaboration with Disney have been selling extremely well in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, where they have become one of the biggest stories in the flash memory market. ADATA is now hoping to expand the implementation of this successful sales strategy to include Australasia and Southeast Asia. ADATA Disney products will go on sale in Australia, New Zealand and Thailand in August 2006; the company anticipates impressive sales performance in these markets.
