Hello! I’m Ashleigh, a digital Illustrator and Designer based in Canada. I create playful patterns and colourful illustrations inspired by nature and daily life.
As a digital artist working with large video and art files, it’s so important to have reliable SSDs, Hard drives and USB drives that can quickly back up and transfer files. I can confidently recommend Adata’s Elite SE880 external SSD for its speed and compact size, the UE800 USB Flash Drive (this thing is so fast!) and the HM800 External HDD for the convenient one-touch backup.
These tools give me the freedom to focus on creating and designing without having to worry about running out of storage and backing up my files.

The LEGEND 970 SSD by ADATA has truly impressed me. Its PCIe Gen5 x4 transmission interface delivers exceptional speed, with up to 10,000/10,000MB/s sequential read/write speed. The dual-layer aluminum alloy and fan form a patented active air cooling system, which significantly reduces temperatures by 10% compared to a fanless heat sink. The surface crystallization also improves thermal conductivity, ensuring that the drive operates long-term without slowing down or crashing. With a spacious 2000GB capacity and support for the latest Intel and AMD platforms, it's a powerhouse of performance and reliability.
The Elite SE880 External SSD from ADATA is a game-changer. It supports USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 and offers performance up to 2000MB/s. What's truly remarkable is its highly portable, lightweight, and compact form factor, making it incredibly convenient for on-the-go use. It even supports new-generation game consoles and multiple operating systems, making it a versatile and dependable choice for all my storage needs.

I have been lucky enough to work with Adata's products for some time now and they make my everyday life a lot easier. I have so much storage on the Adata HM 800 with 8TB and no longer have to worry about which versions of my designs I want to keep. I can easily keep all my working versions. And most importantly, in one place. Before, I needed multiple hard drives and had to write down which files I stored on which one. Also, large Photoshop files are no longer a problem because after I finalize my design, I can easily move the file to my external hard drive so it doesn't weigh down my computer any further.
For me as a designer, it's especially great that the products are so high quality and finished with attention to detail. The special highlight of my SE900G is the glowing RGB pattern that shines when the 2TB external hard drive is in use. Especially for me as a color lover, this is particularly nice to see!
And last but not least, I would also like to point out that all the products I get to test are absolutely silent. I have never had external hard drives that were quiet. Even while I'm transferring files, the hard drives stay quiet as a mouse. That's an absolutely huge plus, because I've always found it annoying about other products that they sound like someone is mowing the lawn.

Hi, I'm Filipp Kabanyayev, a fine art photographer who has
developed a unique light painting technique to create my
pieces of artwork. My main goal is to reconnect people with
nature by capturing the innate beauty of simple subjects.
Each photograph starts in complete darkness; then light is
added stroke by stroke, just like paint on a canvas. Through my work,
I hope to inspire others to appreciate the beauty of simplicity and
deepen their connection with the natural world.
In the process of creation I take thousands of images
which fill up my laptop quickly. I use ADATA's
ELITE SE760 external drive to store all my photos.
Its sleek metal case is stylish and durable, while its
high-speed performance ensures swift photo storage.
This compact drive not only safeguards my photos but
also keeps up with my pace, offering a reliable and
efficient storage solution for my creative endeavors.
When I'm in my studio, I rely on ADATA's High
Endurance microSDXC/SDHC - 256GB for swift and
dependable photo storage. Its ample capacity
eliminates worries about space, while its reliability
ensures the safety of my photos. With this card,
I can focus on my work, knowing my images are secure.

Wildan
Hello! My name is M Wildan Cahya Syarief. Please just call me Wildan,
I'm a 3D illustrator & 3D Generalist from Madiun City, Indonesia.
I have 6 years of experience as a both of Art Director and Lighting &
Render Artist from 2012-2018 in one of the Animation Studio based in Surabaya,
Indonesia. But since early 2019 I'm doing freelance and building my own team.
As a 3D artist, it's obvious that we're rely on PC components and hardware
that are powerful and fast enough to handle 3D-based work. Finding reliable
components is crucial for delivering high-quality visual storytelling.
This requires me to choose trusted and proven brands for the components
in the PC that I build, and one of these choices is ADATA.
I use the ADATA LEGEND 960 2TB NVME SSD for my main PC storage,
which are still using the gen 4 technology, but it's boasting
exceptionally fast Read and Write speeds. This has been incredibly
helpful in handling the demanding processing tasks associated with
3D production. Also, for mobility and quick transfer of large 3D files,
I rely on the ADATA SE880 1TB external SSD, ensuring efficiency in handling
substantial data volumes within a short time frame. Moreover,
I utilize the ADATA HM800 External HDD 4TB for backing up my NAS storage server,
which I purchased some time ago, but in a smaller capacity due to the
high cost of NAS storage, so I'm using External HDD to back up my old files on my server.

As an illustrator and Skillshare teacher, I've always relied heavily
on external hard drives for backing up my system and archiving projects.
I have a couple of drives connected to my iMac at all times. However,
I never considered switching to solid-state drives until Adata asked me to
try their SSD products. I was pleasantly surprised by their fast speed, compact size,
and silent operation. Despite initial doubts about my 2020 iMac's compatibility,
its Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports handled the USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 speed without any issues.
I wasn't up-to-date with the latest tech, so I was curious about the differences between
Adata's SE880 and Legend 960 models, both 2TB external solid-state drives. The SE880 is incredibly
lightweight and easy to use - just plug it in, and it's ready. The Legend 960, however,
requires a bit more setup. It's a PCIeGen4 x4 M.2 2280 SSD card, which needs to be installed in
an enclosure, the EC700G in this case. The process reminded me of my days as a computer tech,
especially when I had to install a thin heat sink plate on the SSD.
Once set up, the Legend 960 in the EC700G enclosure functions like any external drive.
It feels more robust and higher-end than the SE880, partly due to its weight and the
stylish RGB lighting strip. In comparison to my external HDDs, both Adata SSDs
are significantly smaller and lighter. In terms of speed, the difference is remarkable.
Transferring a 5GB video file from my iMac to the Adata SSDs took only a few seconds,
compared to 15-20 seconds on my HDDs. I've decided to use the SE880 for video backups and
the Legend 960 for my daily backups. Their solid-state nature means I don’t have to worry
about damage to moving parts, unlike traditional HDDs.In summary, both the SE880 and
Legend 960 are excellent for fast, portable external storage. If you're looking for
a drive that feels more premium and sturdy, the Legend 960 with the EC700G is the way to go,
though the enclosure is an extra cost. For ease of use straight out of the box, the SE880 is the ideal choice.
