Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. – May 9th, 2019 –ADATA today announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2019, ended 31st March, 2019. Gross margin for the quarter was 10.8%, a 5 percentage point increase, growing from 5.23% in the fourth quarter in 2018. Net income for the quarter was NT$152 million, an increase of 199% YoY. Based on 218 million outstanding shares, EPS was NT$0.72. On consolidate basis, total revenue for the first quarter was NT$6.4 billion. Gross profit was NT$692 million, an increase of 94.12% QoQ and operating income was NT$62 million.
