With strong demand and stable margins to persist into the second quarter, net income of NT$ 1.55 billion for the second quarter and net income of NT$ 2.26 billion for the first half of 2021 both hit record highs for the company. Net income for the first half of 2021 has surpassed the net profit for whole 2020. Based on 238 million average outstanding shares for the first half of 2021, EPS was NT$9.05. Total revenue for the second quarter was NT$ 10.63 billion, an increase of 42.3% YoY. Operating income reached NT$ 1.03 billion, an increase of 211.59% YoY and net income was NT$ 1.55 billion, up 452% from NT$ 0.28 billion in the second quarter of last year. Based on 244 million average outstanding shares, EPS was NT$ 6.05. On consolidated basis, accumulated revenue for the first half of 2021 was NT$19.73 billion, an increase of 34.12% YoY. Compared to a year earlier, operating profit was NT$ 1.75 billion, growing 41.5% YoY. Net income was NT$ 2.26 billion, surging 209.08%, compared with NT$ 0.7 billion for the first half of 2020. Based on 238 million average outstanding shares, EPS was NT$ 9.05.
