Premier Series DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM Memory Module

ADATA continues to lead the industry in DRAM timing and density with these 8GB Premier Series DDR3L 1600 single piece memory modules. They are designed and engineered to support the ever more rigorous requirements of enthusiasts and professionals. The high 8 GB density overcomes situations where there are only a few DRAM slots on the motherboard, allowing users to maximize system potential and performance.

Meets Rigorous Standards and Specifications

Meets Rigorous Standards and Specifications

The Premier Series 1600 Mbps DDR3L 204-Pin (SO-DIMM) are standard pin design modules operating at 1.35 volts, with transmission bandwidth up to 12.8 Gb/second (PC3L 12800). The memory modules implement cutting edge technology that enables remarkable memory density on a single module. All the modules are in accordance with JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council, JEDEC Solid State Technology Association) and RoHS design and production standards, simultaneously ensuring compatibility with all the computer systems adopting the same standard and ecologically sound product. ADATA Series memory modules come with lifetime warranty and service, providing remarkable protection.

  • A: In order to prevent a situation in which the system will not boot due to the motherboard not supporting a preloaded SPD value that is too high, we set the default specification to 1333mhz. You can set DRAM Frequency=1600mhz in BIOS to successfully overclock.‎
  • A: DDR3L memory is a 1.35V product, applicable to platforms supporting 1.5V or 1.35V operating voltages. Intel only introduced the DDR3L memory support specification starting from IVB. Thus, DDR3L can only work at the low voltage of 1.35V when installed on the 2012 IVB or Haswell platform. It can still work on older platforms but only operating at 1.5V.
Certain "memory selection” issues may occur in some older notebooks. In order to avoid unforeseen compatibility problems, it is generally recommended that new IVB and Haswell platform products launched in 2H12 be paired with DDR3L memory.‎
  • A: After confirming that system compatible memory is being used, please perform the following steps:

    1. Before installing memory, power off the laptop, remove the battery pack, and unplug the power cord. Reseat the memory firmly into the socket, pressing the memory down so that it locks into place. Replace the battery pack and power cord, and turn on the system. If installation remains unsuccessful, try inserting the memory into a different slot.

    2. If the recommended memory is installed correctly but the computer still does not boot or recognize the memory, please install original memory and download the latest BIOS from the motherboard manufacturer's website to update, and then reinstall ADATA memory.‎
